The varieties of crack shafts are mainly polyester FDY, especially bright filaments. Polyester DTY rarely occurs, but nylon filaments do not have this phenomenon. As soon as the weaving shaft is cracked, serious defects such as warp willow and wide warp will be formed. Therefore, it is one of the most serious quality accidents of semi-finished products, which greatly affects the production efficiency and product quality of the factory. For shearing the shaft, the qualified manufacturers can re-install the machine after inverting the shaft, and many manufacturers directly scrap the weaving shaft.
Formation reason:

  The main reason for the cracked axis is the uneven shrinkage of the warp filaments. From the radial direction of the weaving axis, the shrinkage of the inner warp yarn is restricted because it is close to the core tube of the weaving axis;

  On the other hand, after the sizing of the warp silk, although the shrinkage time is generally arranged, the shrinkage is not sufficient. Moreover, in the weaving workshop with relatively high humidity, the fixation effect of the sizing film on the thread after moisture absorption is weakened, and the stress is released. The warp wire of the layer absorbs moisture before the warp wire of the inner layer, and the moisture absorption in the middle of the warp shaft is greater than that of the two sides. The shrinkage of the warp wire in the middle is higher than that of the two sides, so the two sides will become convex. With the accumulation of this shrinkage error, the shaft will eventually be cracked on both sides. Intermediate cracked shafts can also occur as shrinkage errors accumulate if there is a stress concentration somewhere in the middle of the shaft (such as forming or tension variation).
